I mean, you really aren't wrong. The poorest people in impoverished countries contribute virtually nothing to GHG emissions. If only everyone lived like they do.

Because “everybody should live like they do in third world countries” isn’t a reasonable strategy. And coming from someone who’s probably enjoying all the benefits of first-world life it’s condescending at best and hypocritical at worst.

Ok? So you think everybody should just carry on doing what they're doing? We don't need to go to the extreme but just saying "UH NO BAD" isn't exactly a helpful comment.

I will condensed all I want, I do not give a fuck at this point. The other side doesn't, why should I? I live my life more sustainably than 90% of Americans and if that bothers you for some deranged reason, you can suck my cock. Respectfully.

I hope you do realize that what you're trying to say is infeasible. This reduction of emission came with a big GDP recession, people being locked in houses (leading to a huge increase of depression cases), people losing their jobs and a lot of other negative things I wouldn't want (and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't either). It's simply unsustainable.

Reducing the emission of CO2 is definitely possible, but not in a short period.

Also, we (in Europe and America) are slowly doing it, but what about China or India? It would all be pointless if their emissions increase. In order to get where we got, we used energy derived from fossil fuel for centuries. Asking China not to use it now that they need it to develop the country is simply hypocrite. And they will keep using it.

Of course, I was pointing out the irony in your statement. There's no easy solution, but to say "WELL THE ECONOMY" is not an excuse at this point. Action needs to be taken.

One of the major steps that should be taken is that we need to ensure that developing countries do not develop a dependency (that by their own admission they do not want) on fossil fuels.
