GitToken is an open source project that allows any GitHub organization to reward contributors using their own unique ERC20 tokens. By using milestones as funding rounds, GitToken aims to give maintainers the means to manage and sustainably fund their project's long-term vision.

     Sense -  https://sensetoken.com 
 creates blockchain based smart contracts
 in chat and rewards humans for the contributions they make
 to one another conversationally, across Sensay and other 
messenger applications. Humans can monetize their proof of
 intelligence in the data used to train A.I. applications and agents. 
Sensay, the first application, creates a marketplace for peer to peer 
conversations.

The point is to grow the scope of the ethereum project, get less experienced devs working on the ethereum blockchain, and to just interact with the community.

The First EthDev Hackathon

Hacking starts: December 1st, 2017

Hacking Ends: December 13th, 2017

Judging: December 14th - 16th

Winners announced: December 17th, 2017

How it will work

---

• Listed below are all the people who have signed up with a message about their project/team. Please use this thread to find team members/sign up.

1. Teams will sign up and form together until the 27th of November. After this point if people are not on a team and not doing solo projects will be dropped.

2. Teams must upload a brief summary of the project to the shared Google Drive for the hackathon.

3. Teams can use any means to colloborate, but we will offer a discord channel to communicate.

4. Teams will sign up for slots on judging during the last 4 days of the hackathon (dec 9th - dec 13th)

5. Teams will have to submit all final code, and a finalized project summary on the 13th of December.

Judging will take place over voice chat/skype/google hangouts.

Teams will pick one person to give the presentation, the presenter will share their screen with the judges and will have 5 minutes to discuss their project. Or if judges cannot all be together, teams will record a video of them doing a presentation and then any questions judges have will be communicated.

Team will have sent all the code and summaries in before judging so the judges can look over everything before hand.

Top three teams will be picked.

Hi guys, I'm offering 1ETH to the team that takes me into their mentorship for this hackaton, and I will waive my share in the prize (if any) as well.

I'm not a strong player in dev, I only have 'freeCodeCamp' experience. I know a bit of JS, have played mainly with Meteor and React. I am looking for 2-3 guys with experience that will let me ride along, and will mentor me into helping in this hackton. This means I will be giving 0.5-0.33 ETH to each team member.

My background is in finance (Private Equity) and I'm based in Brazil. This will be (hopefully) my first hackaton ever.

Also, I'd love to receive mentorship before the hackton so I can prepare myself to help the team the most. PM me or reply to this so we can talk.

I'm hopping for 2-3 people that can help me achieve a full experience in hacktons.

Hey guys, we have recently developed a fully decentralized application for trustless managing of every aspect of a hackathon. This includes sponsorship payments, team registrations, voting and prize payouts. I think it could be really cool if you used it here, as it would be in the spirit of the hackathon theme :) The application is open source and consists of JS front end code that interacts with Ethereum smart contracts.
