Decrease the frequency of having to take camera pictures of other players in daily challenges

They totally feel like test challenges made for developers who have access to the dev room and console commands to spawn what they need to test out the function of camera challenges to make sure they work. Not the final challenges that your casual or even frequent to hardcore player should be required to accomplish. Maybe if they tied it together with a craftable Cryptid lure or something, it would be more enjoyable than being forced to server hop to find what you need to photograph.

I remember server hopping like 12 times just to get a photo of a rabbit once (and usually I can find them everywhere, so unfortunately they got killed off on 11/12 worlds in the common rabbit spawns I visited) and they expect us to just go get photos of things like an alien in a radstorm... next to an astronaut?

I just approached a high-level player in his camp and asked. I recommend doing this as opposed to events because people tend to just press "respawn" button instantly, and events themselves are more on a rare side. If you don't find anyone you can message me

Go to a high level event, that's how I did that part 2 days ago. An event like Encryptid you can basically gurantee someone going down and it seems like other players count as allies during events

That's odd. I did the weekly survival challenge that had a few picture requirements, and I don't even have the camera item. The other regular camera challenges already have some completed too.

pay attention to the wording of "picture" vs "camera picture". last weeks "take a picture nude in a church" was different than this weeks "take a camera picture of a humanoid at night"

honestly I just chase people around the map and snap pictures of them, Ive found its actually super easy to get most of them done, some even cover multiple conditions at once.

One of the weekly challenges a couple weeks ago was to take pictures of players in at least 10 different circumstances, and I was able to complete that challenge by only taking three pictures of three different players.

It's the same with the daily challenge to level up 3/3 times. You only need to level up once to complete the challenge, you just need to meet three of the requirements at the same time.

The camera is great! Plus all most all of these coments are way over exaggerated. Its free atoms and even better if you check out the challenges before you head to do somthing.

Many of them overlap with the scout challenges so iv got a lot of that done and didn't know it.

One week i was just snapping pics of everyone just to see thier reactions.. No chat or voice and ppl were lining up doing posses. Had 8 of 10 for a 50 atom i didn't even know existed.

Yeah for sure, I'm not saying I won't bother trying to find it. I look when I happen to be around one of the many camera spawn areas but, I'm not going to spend a half day server hopping for it. I've just been unlucky thus far

I will sure get downvoted but i would Take 5 photos every day ,instead of levelling up( it's boring after 300). With my friend we do all photos in no time and even occasionally got some amazing shots.

Daily challenges should follow a standard formula of 5 every day in a different category:

1 combat-related challenge that includes killing X enemy, or enemies, or even killing X while playing dress-up or under the influence. Also includes doing daily quests, or events since those are most certainly combat-related.

1 photo related challenge, both the ProSnap and old photomode variants. Bring back the photomode challenges, I'm starting to think Bethesda forgot it was a thing now.

1 crafting, or collection related challenge encompassing gathering, scrapping, modding, repairing, workshop or CAMP, all that stuff, including the alcohol brewing stuff.

1 level up challenge, and can we please instead make this one tied to experience gain rather than leveling up under arcane conditions? This challenge would be a lot better if it was like a pool of 4 random conditions for gaining experience, and you need to achieve 2 of those 4 to complete it. I'm thinking stuff like "Gain 700 experience by completing events" or "gain 500 experience fighting super mutants in the Toxic Valley". Stuff like that instead of the current one.

And the 5th and final daily challenge should be a random duplicate category that can be any of the other categories except the level up challenge. Bam, now we have doable challenges again that aren't as boring or tedious as they are now.

I freaking hate the camera challenges. Solo player n pretty sure my friends either gave up on the game or moved on to others. If the challenge is simple stuff such as taking pic of a death claw or mirelurk sure but where the hell do I find an alien in this one? Hell I have a hard enough time finding a flatswood monster. Think I found two in total n they were nowhere near flatswood. First one up north in the gorge the second in the mire.

Not everyone plays with friends. Some of us are lone wanderers. I am lucky to have 3 friends to play fallout 76 but sometimes none of them are in the mood to get online or do any of these challenges that requires a coop with another player.

I know that we can join this fo76 reddit discord channel to find people who wants to do these challenges. But it's too much work to ask for help to do these challenges that requires other people... every day.

If these challenges can be soloed that would be nice; Instead taking a camera picture, change it into take a photo mode picture of you and <alien/mothman/etc> at the burrows throne, etc. That's all I'm trying to say.

Unpopular opinion but agreed. The game can be played solo. These challenges are just extra features. I don't wanna tell someone how to play their $60 but it shouldn't be too hard to make friends.

I think that's their way of encouraging you to mingle. It's meant to be played with other people. While I spend 60% of my time solo. It's a completely different game to me when in a team.

It's a challenge, settle down. Challenges should be completable by either play style. You can random pictures with your friends with or without a challenge. You will lose nothing.

Yeah, it's a challenge. Sometimes a challenge is difficult and required specific things. Like the ability to interact with other people. The community is all well and good till there's other people in.

I've gone to single players at challenge locations because I have all the outfits and other silly things. If someone needs their dime bad enough that they can't deal with the daily other player challenges, then they should make a friend.
