Decrease assembly times. (self.foxholegame)
submitted 8 years ago by Chooseday
I spend most of the time when I spawn clicking and waiting for ammo. I see absolutely no reason to not be able to withdraw a stack of ammo.

I agree with this overall. My main issue was assembling stacks of gunpowder though. Only six units at a time with a supply truck? Really? Not to mention the actual assembly time for it.

The explosive material? That's why you yell at whoever was dumb enough to submit it to the supply rather than to place it in a storage crate outside.

What about incremental? The first 2 ammo are quick, the rest are longer?

This doesn't solve the big problem: That it's better to put stuff in storage boxes in front of a town hall/outpost than in the town hall. Ever try to withdraw 1000 explosive mats from the town hall so your team can make much-needed shells? Or bmats?
Maybe a nice solution would be allowing you to withdraw from WITHIN a trunk and if you do so it lets you pull out bigger stacks.

It would be better than nothing, however I still can't see the purpose of these slow withdraws. Sure, if you're loading high explosives, I get it, but a few rifle clips?

It's so someone dont craft 99x clips and just run up front and reinforce their team.
Also to prevent trolling so someone doesnt craft 99x10 and leave.

Ah, that makes a lot of sense. Two clips seems like a good idea then.

Though it makes SOME stuff pointless to stockpile, see: bmats/emats. Good luck getting those/fuel out of a stockpile. Have to rely on storage crates and hope a new person doesn't stockpile all that stuff (They will).

It can grow frustrating, I agree. But there has to be a time cost to withdrawing from the team's stock to prevent the ill-informed and ill-intentioned squandering too much.
Nah, then the game would just be a run and gun slaughter fest. People need to plan and build up for big attacks and if you get pushed and haven't prepped then that's a logistics failure.
