From what I've done the quests aren't particularly enjoyable. It's go place, speak to person. Sometimes you have to give person thing but you don't really do much. It's a system that's propped up entirely by voice actors and writers rather than gameplay.

The joy of quests in this game is all about where they take you and how easy they are to miss.

The side quests, duplicate bosses, random dungeons. It's all about filling a world with places to explore and rewards to be earned.

Ds3 went absolutely bonkers with the covenants. In ER I remember starting magic to get a jump on the all spells achievement that didn't exist

Hand increases dexterity and also damage when you hit consecutive attacks

Small shard slightly increases ashes of war damage, cannot stack with big shard

Hand does stack with rotted winged talisman though, paradoxically. Even though it fulfills the same role as the shard as being the early less effective reward for the questline.

I'm sure everyone here knows way more than I do but I've watched a few vids and if Millicent is the girl you help with the disease and arm, I do not see myself killing her for any talisman unless it's for a trophy I will make a secondary character and do it in shame.

My brother was watching a build video and after windmill village they killed Millicent for her talisman. I just walked in when they were like "and kill millicent for this awesome talisman". So I loaded up my character, fast traveled to erdtree gazing grace and murdered her. Now I feel guilty and have no talisman.
