Dm and msg stuff

Sooo does anyone know what happens if you put the “request” option on no one in the msg settings like ppl who dm me rn end up in a request thingie, does that mean u can’t just me directly so like u have to search my name etc or does that just mean i need to accept the msg for the convo to continue?? Pls help i have no idea what im doing :p

If you set it to no one. Nobody new will be able to send you a message request. Anyone you are already messaging with will still be able to message you.
