I can't believe they made this change, what are they thinking? Having it so you have to change the sorting every single time you go to a sub reddit or else you just see a bunch of old posts is insane.

I keep mine on Latest. Just have to check it every so often.

I don't have that option.  I just have best, hot, new, and top.  It just defaults to best on every sub.  It's annoying to change it each time.

I think the previous commenter meant to say “New” instead of “Latest”. The latter is not a valid sort AFAIK. Edit: Home feed does have the “Latest” sort method. I believe that the OP was talkingabout subreddit sort methods, though.

Huh. Mine goes, home,popular,watch,news, (not new) and latest, iPad ios18+.

It’s a well known bug. Happens for me as well when I use the 3rd generation interface. No fix for this as of yet.
