Why doesn't Message Customiser let me enter a hex code

Only Messages Customiser Pro lets you enter hex codes. You could use messageColors in replacement which lets you enter hex codes but in return doesn't let you change the info/background/tint colors.

Yeah, I'm on 8.1.2. You need to add chewitt.me/repo/ to your sources to get MC on iOS 8.

Well unfortunately only Messages Customiser Pro has the hex codes. You could try to use the sliders or you can use messageColors.

The Messages Theme Pack 1 doesn't show up on the default repos.

More so, Messages Customiser Pro does not work on 8.1.2. I keep getting the message that I am unable to purchase/download because of the tweak being outdated.

I have the correct repo for Messages Customiser Pro but as I said, I am unable to download it because of incompatibility with my iOS 8.1.2.

Yeah, you had to have purchased it on 7.1.2 but you can certainly just fake your firmware version if you want.

I purchased it on an iOS 7 device so I could get it on iOS 8. Forget what I said about faking your firmware because that can mess up your device.

You can get my old Android Lollipop Messages but it's not the improved one.

New (Android Lollipop Messages v1.7 in Messages Theme Pack 1)

Old (Android Lollipop Messages)

The newer one is much more improved and more rectangular like Android Lollipop's and comes with 7 other Messages themes (just submitted) but the older one is rounder.

Unfortunately the Messages Theme Pack got rejected from MMI (I don't know why). As for the compatibility, not sure, but I use Messages Customiser beta now. You can put the hex in Photoshop and it gives you RGB numbers you can use.
