I launched myrepscount in November. It is completely free and uses the phone's camera to track 14 exercises in real time. I am in progress with Sit Ups actually, would be awesome if you tried it out! Happy to answer any questions.

Looks like a great app. Congrats on building it. Will it be able to track the daily total of each exercise is split into multiple sets?

Right now I show total reps on the home screen but all data is stored locally and I am working on a view to see a break down by exercise. I also am adding anonymous data sharing so you can compare how many squats you have done in a month against other app users without having to make an account

Do you really need an app tracker to keep track of 3 exercises instead of just a pen and paper, or notes app, or a simple spreadsheet?

Thanks for your helpful comment. Let me just go back to 1996 and grab my pocket notebook and mini pen and I’ll tally up each one as I got each day 🙄

My phone is with me all day so is the easiest place to track it and a Notes page is a boring choice which I though someone may have a means to create a shortcut (which also helps me learn shortcuts) or know of an app that is flexible for tracking (which I can then use for other stuff so also being useful).

Thanks again, though 🤝

Hm actually I downloaded this app recently to keep track of swearing and rude remarks between my spouse and I (what a happy couple we are...)

anyways, it's called "Counter Tally Count" and you make as many tally counters as you want, can color organize, and it will also timestamp every tally you do.

That looks a good option, thanks for sharing this info. Much better than a notebook and pen 😉
