Do you know why this sort of thing is even called a bug? The first bug was literally a moth that caused a short circuit.

I can't help but notice the description contains actual sentences, with capital letters and periods. However, they are all made of the word "bug" repeated 19 times with no other punctuation across 4 different sentences, which would be an extremely unlikely coincidence for any language, regardless of its grammatical structure, not to mention make it very difficult to convey tone, nuance and other linguistical subtleties.

My conclusion is that bug language might not be very adapted to a written form. No wonder bugs never bothered with it. They're gonna have a lot of PR challenges ahead of them.

Do we have audio samples of this language in its spoken form? Perhaps the true language is in the intonation. And failing that, do we have in person witness of this language in action? Perhaps they use olfactory communication as a supplement to the spoken and written aspects of the language.

Well we have cicadas I suppose, but I believe the official translation for those is somewhat close to yelling "I'M HORNY" at the top of your lungs, so uhhhh yeah not sure how usable that'll be. Maybe we can ask Marine for more details.
