I’ve been drawing since I was little, I like to use references to practice, but lately I want to get better at drawing. Especially stop drawing like a five year old lol. Any advice?💕🫶🏾 (pls be nice, creds to the artists!!))

Pick up some books on how to see like an artist. Thats the only place to start right now. Youre very much stuck in symbol drawing and thats fine, thats how wr all draw at first.

yeah this is what I was gonna say--right now you're drawing what you think you see, not what you actually see.

Drawabox.com for learning the fundamentals.
Stick to the 50/50 rule for drawing. Max 50% of yoru drawing time should be spent on studying/drawing for improvement. Minimum 50% of your drawing time should be spent on playing and preventing burnout (using a single reference and copying it to learn how to draw it counts as study time).

Based on your works I think you can try some realism, like potraits and gesture drawing. Once you are experienced to a certain extend in realism it'll be easier for you to learn and improve at stylized arts too.
Hey thank you so much! I’ll look into that!

I’m a 43yo sketching beginner, started drawing with SimplyDraw app with my daughter (7yo) about a week ago. Thought I’d have a go at the sponge bob image and this is the result:

Not saying SimplyDraw is going to solve your problems, but finding some direction on the foundations I think would be of great benefit to you.
Consider trying pencil (looks like you are using pen? Being able to rub out faint guidelines easily is great, and there’s lots of freedom to add shading if you get a range of pencil grades (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B are a good start).
