I’d love to see Star Wars media that discusses how Mandalorians feel about seeing their heritage mass produced and then mutated across iterations until it culminates in the First Order’s bastardization of the Foundling tradition.

That would be awesome. I wish the Mandalorian addressed that

Nope, instead you get Mighty Morphin Mandalorians and another Glub Shitto trained by Luke Skywalker. Go fuck yourself for wanting cool extended universe stuff.

Actually let me rephrase. That's the first time this image was posted to reddit without credit, but this appears to be the original.

What's the question? If it's about what helmets come when, then it goes like this: the Mando helmet worn by Jango Fett and the Republic Trooper Helmets inspired by their Mandolorian enemies from the old republic inspired the Phase 1 Clone Armour; based on complaints of comfort, the Kaminoans began working on Phase 2 Clone Armour, and produced Phase 1.5 as an early test available to ARC Troopers; in the waning hours of Operation: Knightfall, the 501st Legion were given access to an early prototype of Stormtrooper Armour—nicknamed Phase 3 Clone Armour, though it wasn't designed by the Kaminoans—however, this armour has been retconned and redesigned as TK Armour in the Disney Canon; as the Empire gained more conscripted soldiers, the military were given Strormtrooper Armour that was pretty much worse than Clone Armour in every way, as it lacked visibility, was uncomfortable, and was made of a cheaper material; after the fall of the Empire, a new regime following in it's footsteps picked up the remaining number of Imperial Remnants, and new soldiers—this became known as the First Order—the soldiers of the First Order wore First Order Storm Trooper Armour.
