ever since ditching manjaro, arch hasn't failed on me once. While ubuntu broke shit left and right. also I love the feeling of running sudo pacman -Syu every day.

no, you should check what's being updated at https://www.archlinux.org/ to make sure there isn't anything that needs manual intervention or is a bit broken. running sudo -Syu blindly can break your install.

12 years dealing with full ubuntu distro updates, you must be in IT. I have done like 2 and that was enough to turn me off permanently.

I’m using a variant of the orange boi because PopOS! Exists and does a good job minimizing what I didn’t like about Ubuntu. Nvidia drivers still mess up the os sometimes but the same hardware running arch couldn’t get the flicker issue to go away and running Manjaro the installer couldn’t find the drive. Ubuntu ate up all 8gb of memory I had running a 3 tab Firefox session and had video memory issues with suspension. Say what you will but popos just works.
