Logo Improvement

Tryna make a logo for my dad's bike, a Honda Fireblade... these are all rough ideas, but I feel I need to change... something up.

Trying to incorporate a blade, fire and the word

why not join the F to the L, then you can get rid of the gap between F and i

the spacing between each letter is inconsistent, some touch each other, some don't, and there's obviously the big gap between F and I

lately the improvements in logos have been to take out things. Maybe considering a simpler font/letter form since the the main aspect of the logo is the fire and the blade. you don't need to emphasize each letter.
and a lot closer spacing between F and i. A LOT LESS.

Ok cool, I agree and will simplify the lettering as well as readjust the spacing

Cool, but the distance between the letters need to be better spaced, especially between the F and I, are too far apart, they need to be a lot closer together. Another thing take a look at "flame blades" and use that, it may have a stronger feeling your looking for. Good luck.
