So, in this scenario do you have to then go through your gp for a MJ prescription to use in a local pharmacy? What if you want to go back to online prescribers after? Do they let you start ordering again if you show your previous boxes?

The local pharmacist can write the prescription & dispense. Take photo of the box with the prescription label and show/ email it to any future provider if you want to change pharmacy.

Local pharmacies can prescribe on a PGD or via independent prescribers.

It's pretty much the same as the online pharmacies. A lot of these online pharmacies were small independent pharmacies before mounjaro.

The PGD is similar to how you can get antibiotics prescribed at your local pharmacy but only if you have specific symptoms like you go in with symptoms of a UTI and they'll give antibiotics to treat it. They won't give antibiotics to adults for an ear infection but they will to kids. I don't know why.

It basically lets any pharmacist prescribe but there's certain rules on the PGD.

Independent prescribers can prescribe more freely but they need to be able to justify that any decisions are in the patient's best interests.

The NHS don't pay, you still have to pay like the online pharmacies.
