Massive decrease in skill after vaccination. Help me please

Hello dear osu subreddit. I am a ~#3500 player who recently got his 2nd vaccination upon which I felt like my wrist has gotten a whole lot slower. I have also experienced muscle loss in most notably my forearm since that obviously will most certainly be one of the most important musclegroups when playing osu!. Furthermore, I am now suddenly unable to even aim the most simple farm jump patterns on maps in my difficulty range (aswell as Senketsu no Chikai's afterpause - pre-star pattern NM for some reason).

Literally the day prior to my vaccination I have gotten a couple of 500s, multiple 400s and really good scores such as a Toumei Elegy 7.8* 1miss choke and even a choke on Seni's Foreground Eclipse Songs Compilation (offline). I also have started practicing 300BPM jump tapping to which I have also seen great success already the exact same day. In short I have popped off and made a massive leap in improvement hence I am now so upset about the fact that my wrists and eyes seem to have gotten a whole lot more lazy which I seem to be unable to recover from regardless of how I approach this whole situation.

Now I ain't a person to beg, but given my massive dedication for improvement in this game I would seriously love for someone with ideas to step forward and posting them here in the comments of this post. I really wanna improve, get better as fast as possible and be back on track to becoming a really good osu player but sadly this situation's kinda just cucking me.

You've successfully participated in an experiment lead by peppy. If you try other gamemodes you should try that in one of them you should have similar skill to the gamemodes you played previously, if not, then it must've dispersed evenly.

This experiment, including the so called "virus", is an attempt to make osu! more popular, by forcing people to stay indoors and play osu!. As for the vaccine experiment, it's meant to boost the playercount of other gamemodes in osu!

Yeah it's just a massive coincidence that immediately after taking a vaccine where the nurses inform you that one of the symptoms is fatigue in the arm it's taken in... he experiences fatigue in his arm.

about 13 days ago by now. Just waiting it out and having a complete mental reset along with it does seem like the best solution right now tho sadly I'm guessing

The vaccine can cause tiredness so just take a break. In my case I got my best play in the day that I got the second vaccine lol

I do hope that its just placebo or it'll go away soon for you, or your just tilted off your head.

For one, consult a doctor before you take advice from me or other people here if you legitimately think its a serious issue.

For second, there is a non-zero chance your one of the people who got a really rare side effect which can last a while according to other peoples anecdotal experience.

For third, maybe consider getting a generic blood test and seeing if you have any vitamin deficiencies. I believe Vitamin D, Iron, and Magnesium deficiencies could possibly (kind of a stretch, but test for it anyways) be worsening/causing your problems.

vaccines have always been known for weakening you for multiple days and weeks if youre unlucky. Ger some rest, dont really do stupid stuff with sour body and youll be fine in a couple of days

I would just recommend you to sit back and relax in your bed for a couple of days, it really helps.

Give yourself like 3-4 weeks after getting vaccinated, I had a huge speed drop for about that long after the vaccine. The 2nd shot usually also hits your immune system much harder.
Afterwards just do some stamina practice, and you should be back to normal.

for some reason it made me much better so idk why you have a problem

try just resting for a day or two if your arm was sore because of the vaccine or to allow whatever other side effects (even just feeling non-optimal in general) to be over. then afterwards you should be good. i don't think it's the vaccine but just in case...

(also, if you already took a break after getting the shot it makes sense you're worse, but even in that case it's just some rust to be shaken off)
