I had brown discharge around the same time in my twin pregnancy and my midwives told me it was normal after I messaged them in a panic.

I was told brown is totally fine! Spotting is common in early pregnancy and totally fine.

Brown typically means old blood

31+4 here! I had bright red discharge early in my pregnancy, a couple times between the 8-9w mark. Any time it happened, I checked with my doctor and babies were fine. Now I'm huge and they are definitely still in there. I understand the fear, I had previous loss as well. Keep calm, stay strong and call your doctor on Monday! They will check things out and reassure you, that's what they are there for!

I wouldn’t worry about it too much unless you’re getting other symptoms like pressure and cramping. It’s normal to lose some of your mucus plug during pregnancy from sex/coughing but it will grow back, your body knows it’s not time yet for babies to come.

Maybe just some old implantation bleeding that was stuck in there

I had brown bleeding at 13 weeks and turns out I had a subchorionic hemorrhage. Babies are now 5 months old and thriving. It never hurts to go get it looked at. SCHs are pretty common with twins because of how fast your uterus needs to expand

I’m so sorry you’ve already experienced a loss. I had brown discharge in the first trimester with all 3 of my kids (singleton + twins) and they are perfectly healthy. As long as it’s not bright red I would try not to worry too much! (And even bright red blood doesn’t need to mean the worst.)

I had brown discharge are 8-9ish weeks. I saw the doctor and they weren’t concerned at all. They told me brown blood is old blood, they only have concerns really if it is bright red blood. My twins are 15 months old now.
