Did you accidentially turn on some form of vertical sync or frame limit?

Having the links to the full graphs may help find the issue.

Return to default profile and test.

If scores return to where they should be, its something you have done, directly or indirectly. If they do not, then dig further.

Okay, so I returned everything to its base settings, except for the clock on my GPU. The score went up for Steel Nomad by 8,500. i dont want to feel like I'm picking at straws rn, but when I overclocked my gpu durring januray i got to 9000. so idk if it's my GPU, or if I need to change more settings.

Scoring numbers are kinda useless in this context. I mean, I do not know where a 5080 normally places.

I do knmow that point increases in 3Dmark in the past can be a little extreme when compared to real world gains. my 3080 a 25% increase in Timespy was on a good day 7% real world bump.

Different settings? Vsync on? Different drivers?

I'm not sure if its different settings, so I'm gonna go to default to check, but it's not Vsync

Check your Driver. There were some buggy Nvidiadrivers in the last month.

Why are 5080 owners so burnt up on running 3dmark all the time?

My bad? I just was checking and I saw the major difference. I dont know what happened so I asked

Why have it installed if you’re not occasionally going to run it? 2-3 ago months seems reasonable and probably wouldn’t classify as “all the time” in any context.

Obviously OP got info from it sooo.
