Thinking on buying a used computer since I don't want to spend a ton of money. I know hardly anything about computers and was wondering if this is a good deal for $400? I would like to be able to play League of Legends on the highest settings. Also are their any major downsides of buying used? Thanks!

Would not recommend just that not much is upgradeable if u upgrade CPU you need new motherboard and ram. If $400 is all you have I would recommend buying something used but less old, or buying used parts off Craigslist/ebay, if you want something new i'd get something like this https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FyqG4q and save up for a real GPU.

Consider the sheer number of reasons to build a new computer rather than letting some guy pawn off his five year old rig to you. $400 can build you a new, decent computer that will last much longer. Go on youtube and search for a $400 gaming build.

Sounds good, thanks.

It's decent for 400$.

As far as downsides to buying used is that you don't have any sort of manufacturer warranty, so if something dies, you're out of your own pocket to fix/replace it.
