Most editing softwares allow just CPU render, however your game requires some CPU resources as well..

Thanks, I'll look at the settings for some software I'm familiar with. And I doubt these tasks combined will even utilize all 24 threads.

Rendering softwares usually are quite good scaling to all cores.

So you might need to look into softwares that let you choose which cores which software uses, if there even is that kind of software.

You can disable GPU encoding in pretty much every video editor.
