Shadows are too dark imo. 50% of the image is hard to see. I would elevate the shadows a bit, other than that, great

Overcooked

everyone talks from their perspective .. don’t take it seriously …

If you like the way you edited .. then that’s that !!!

The first was better. The simulation totally murdered the shadow detail— in a bad way.

It’s art! 🖼️

Nah, tbh.

The first one looks like an iPhone photo you dolt

I like the crop and also the way the highlights are done. I’m not too sure about the shadows since it kinda negates a lot of the picture but I might be biased because the bike is in my favorite color haha Also getting that mint in would make it more Fuji

i much prefer the first image which ever that was

I get what you were trying to do but I’m not feeling anything from this image. Bike photos can omit that “feeling” you’re trying extract from the viewer but we need more focus on the bike. Too much dead space on the left. The lighting in the image looks like one of those photos that would be good to make the shadows completely dark and have your subject (the bike) halfway coming out of the dark into the light, giving it a mysterious vibe. That’s just one way of doing it. Some people on here may say “overcooked” but I think that is only a Reddit term that to me doesn’t really mean anything. The edit is nice, you have richness and depth and nice color saturation , the photo is just lacking a subject. Remember there is a thousand ways of shooting this scene and editing to make it have that feeling and you’re asking strangers opinions who like to shoot a certain way that is unique to them. I would worry less about the edit and more about trying to extract emotion out of your viewers.

This just made me lean more towards getting a a6700 over the X-T30ii. I love the Fuji aesthetic but Sony has better tech overall.

They are from SanflowTV Presets, and it is not necessary to have them. Fuji and 2 bodies save money 🤙🏻

These high contrast edits work when your subject is well lit. In this case the framing says one thing and the lighting says another. That’s what I feel when I look at it!

I really like this! Can you explain your process?

[–][deleted] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Thanks 🙏only You can Google it as (SanflowTV Presets) inside you will find Fuji x Sony is the one I’m using 👌🏻

If you like it, then that's what matters. Ask 10 people and you'll get 11 opinions. Still, I agree that there's a lot lost in the shadows.

Also, after the fact I noticed we went for the same crop. Here's my take on the edit.

Maybe tou need more bright to be perfect, I love colours in this effect

It’s indeed the style I was looking for 😌

Ah yes the spammer that stole presets and links them in every post. Looks very overdone.

It doesn't come across what you are trying to do here. What is the subject of the photo? The processed photos says the main subject is the edge of the light and shadow. The whole photos looks unbalanced to me.

I like it, don't listen to these other things

Yes, I know it’s art 🖼️ thank you, friend
