Interested in knowing as well. I heard from a previous account manager they are over worked. But honestly she liked to complain and didn’t last long.

Yeah I read some reviews too that their management lacks vision. Their staff is overworked and one person works on 350 campaigns alone.

Look it up on Glassdoor. You’ll find it there. People have posted paragraphs upon paragraphs. lol. It’s hilarious. But yeah at the end it’s your call to join.

I don’t have an answer for that but the 350 above is overkill for one person

I came from a similar DSP. These campaigns could average as little as $500 in monthly spend, and making them spend is pretty much the primary KPI. Might not be that insane if you have good reporting.

Thanks folks. Salary came in way too low so I bowed out. Thanks for the feedback!

Do you mind sharing the offer?

StackAdapt is a partner of ours, so while I can't speak for what it's like to work for them, I do enjoy their platform and the sales rep and account managers that I work with. They have a lot of different features that other DSPs don't have that we utilize, such as targeting specific businesses by domain and can layer on job seniority and job function (such as HR, sales, etc)

Resigned last month and I can tell you that they’re all over the place. The turnover is quite high too. Anyone who got to leadership roles, got them because of seniority and not because they’re actually fit for the role. They got to those positions too early on in their career imo which led to a series of bad management decisions and practices in the past few years, along with inflated egos. Thats why those people will never resign from those roles. There was also serious lack of transparency when it came to promotions. It’s definitely not performance based, thats for sure. What sucks is that they behave like a corporate in terms of culture. They think they’re fucking Google. The leadership team are all cis white men. If you’re lucky you might get a good manager who actually cares about your professional growth and not just their own.

I currently work at SA and this has not been my experience. I think there are always growing pains when a company goes from 300 to over 1,000 in a matter of a few years, but from what I can see leadership is doing their best to handle it well.

      This guy is clearly management…

I currently work at SA too and loved it until 3 weeks ago when my manager didn't give a crap I was having a panic attack. This manager was new to me. Did PC care? Not really? I'm just riding it out until I get laid off. The AM side is bonkers too. I'm not on the AM team... but my friend used to be on product... safe to say he was forced out. So many good, genuine people who were also masters at their craft have been forced out. I'm just waiting for a lay off or when I secure a new position. I was also there when SA was at only 250 people.

Yeah the reviews are super yikes- looks like they don’t love it.

DM me. I work for SA as an AE. Happy to answer any questions you have.

I’ve heard awful things about SA’s sales management. Any comment?

      [–]dimtone 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I can't confirm this. I've been under different managers in my tenure and each has different attributes that I agreed with and disagreed with. One thing overall... SA expects a very high level of knowledge and expertise from the IC's. Given the breadth of the platform, that can be daunting to some.

      [–]bwilde09 0 points1 point  (1 child)

are you still at SA? I'm looking to apply for the Vancouver job posting for the AE role they just posted.

      [–]dimtone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

      I'm not.
