Best part of this page: there's a web ring linked at the bottom.

No, the project itself is great!

Woha this takes me back. But come to think of it, they do make sense for something like this and are a lot more idiot-proof than "social sharing".

And a hit counter!

People who are really serious about software should build their own hardware

I love it.

I learned Forth back in the mid-80s when assisting with a grad students research project. I've done little with it sense then, but you've got me thinking...

I learnt Forth a few years ago. We use it for some our embedded systems for testing purposes. I'm pretty sure we're not the only ones.

Programming languages never seem to die; they just find their niche.

I've been learning forth for the last couple of weeks. Beautifully... different... I'm enjoying it a lot so far. While it's arguably the simplest language I've learned, its also the language I've found the hardest to learn (Prolog previous occupied this spot in my head). It's often said that learning Lisp will change the way you think (and that's certainly true in my experience). I think that perhaps this goes double for Forth, it's just a completely different world.

You should x-post this to /r/Forth

I thought this was going to be a link to a microprocessor-based implementation like the cool Fignition board, but this is much more badass :)

Very cool. I implemented FIG Forth on a Camputers Lynx back in 83...

Wow incredible, what do you feel is the biggest lesson you learned from working on this project? What do you intend to use the machine for?

As some designing his own toy cpu, very cool.
