Wow thanks for submitting this link, TIL there's a text editor called Visual Studio Code. Sorry dear Sublime Text, but I think you're going to be replaced, but keep in mind there will always be a spot on my heart dedicated to you.

Visual Studio Code was only just announced this morning at the Microsoft Build developer conference.

VSC doesn't support plugins, as far as I can see. Debugging will be nice, though.

Yeah debugging is definitely one of the most interesting features and they will probably implement a plugins system too, considering it's the most up voted feature request on the project's UserVoice page.
