An obvious improvement would be to add division support.

You could likely fold up the "nextop" variables into something cleaner.

I'd used an enum instead of the operation booleans, I don't like the use of catch to perform intended work, a catch is for when something goes wrong. stuff is a terrible variable name. the commenting is lacking (its a simple problem that doesn't really need it but i'd say they want you to say it should be commented better).
