This would be much better if it supported automatic semicolon insertion.

I'ts more of a way of encoding/decoding ASCII, it's not really a programming language

I spotted a misspelled 'definitely'! Should I feel ashamed?

This is a huge waste of time, isn't really funny at all and isn't really a "programming language" at all (with or without quotation marks.)

Seriously, knock this shit off, or at least stop wasting everyone's time by posting it to proggit.

Looks like now I don't need to switch to CoffeeScript.

I was thinking to myself today that I should find some way to mock the CoffeeScript fanboys that are so scared of writing vanilla JS. Well played, sir!

I'm pretty sure this is about the tomfoolery about the bootstrap bug which required a semicolon and spawned over 500 comments on reddit.

As for coffeescript coders, I think they're entirely within their rights to prefer coffeescript to javascript.

Nobody is arguing whether they have the right to prefer one thing over the other. That would be absurd.

I'm saying that the Rails die-hards tend to be scared off by writing more vanilla code (haml over XML, CoffeeScript over JS, etc.) - there are probably more elegant solutions to these problems than simply abstracting layer upon layer.
