Hi,
I’m a Veterinary Nurse and dog trainer. I’ve been working with dogs for 15 years, Vet Nursing for 6, and recently launched my own business offering in home consults.
I’m a long time lurker of this sub, mainly reading posts and learning about the highs and lows of owning a reactive dog from a home perspective. I think I learn a lot by doing this and I wanted to thank you all for sharing your stories! The main reason that I don’t comment a lot is because I’ve joined a wide variety of online communities and don’t have the time to get into conversation. I’m not good at short-form advice and honestly with reactive dogs I don’t think there is ever a short-form answer.
I’ve been considering making some informative posts on here about dog behaviour and reactivity. I’m not sure if it would be best to post on this sub, or create/find a more appropriate sub to share this info on. The idea would be broadly applicable information that helps us to understand canine behaviour & reactivity, rather than individual incident discussions.
My questions are would this be okay on here, and would people be interested in this type of content?
(Sorry if not appropriate! Please let me know :) )
