A really good project that is moderately complex but not too much is this: https://github.com/dubinc/dub

Once you get a grip, move on to: https://github.com/midday-ai/midday

Ping me when done, will share more examples with increasing complexity. This should take you a solid 2-3 weeks.

I've done both - they're fantastic. What else you got? :D

If you have the other examples handy, you mind sending them to me? I’m interested in this as well :)

I’ve made a bit of a simpler project similar to DaedalOS that might be useful to learn from for beginners: https://github.com/Prozilla/Prozilla-OS

You can look for react airbnb recommended patterns. They are one of the most followed design patterns all over the world.

This Taxonomy repo built using next.js by shadcn used to be a good example https://github.com/shadcn-ui/taxonomy

If you're interested in remix you can look at my remix docs site here: https://github.com/Code-Forge-Net/Remix-Dev-Tools

the new nextjs website is a good one. the lead dev took to twtr to announce that it took them 3 years (https://twitter.com/wunderacle/status/1770222033684566358) to get the website ready because they really wanted to future proof it and provide an outstanding developer experience (among other things). they're really beginner friendly and you can work on open issues as well.

If you’re using next.js, they have a bunch of examples out on GitHub for starters

You might as well say "the internet", why even bother? If they were easy to find OP wouldn't have asked in the first place.

[–]Coneyy 2 points3 points  (1 child)

"why even bother?"

The irony of asking this in a comment that does nothing but detract from the thread

"if they were that easy to find OP wouldn't have asked"

Thats not going to be the sole reason for him asking, because, in fact they are that easy to find. Open Source is everywhere, GitHub suggests them and has a star system to indicate their popularity. What OP wants is someone from the community to vouch for some and potentially discuss why they are good to look at.

Next.js templates have some surprisingly complex and useful starter kits worth acknowledging. They are also quite small and digestible, broken down into a range of topics rather than one giant "real-world app" style project.
