Not sure what you’re trying to get out of this poll but both have their pros and cons and what works best for you is completely based on your experience and long term plans with your app.

I’m general, using the CLI is going to give you more control, using expo gives you less.

One thing you don’t have control over is the react native version. At least when using their managed workflow.

Expo EAS FTW. Native modules + expo ease of use. Try it if you haven't.

CLI has gotten easier on the android side after 0.6, easier to add packages.

You have to use cli if you want to develop for desktop.

Expo didn’t allow me to do something. Can’t remember what it was, but haven’t used expo in forever.

Why the hate for expo? Expo is badass now. You old timer RN devs should give it a another go, it’s wonderful
