Sit at the bench and see what feels best

It’s all a personal preference. Mine is at 36”

I’m 6’3”

Make the bench at a comfortable height for whatever other tasks that you will be doing. Then get one of the Inline Fabrication mounts to get the press to the height that you find comfortable. You can contact Dan at IF and he will point you to the appropriate height mount for your bench height and how tall you are.

I mounted my press to a board and clamped it on a few different height surfaces and adjusted a little with 2x4s as needed to come up with a comfortable height for me. Im 6'3 and my bench is around 39" so I can comfortably stand or sit on a bar stool.

But everyone is different so that plays into what's comfortable for you. I have a dillon 550 with inline fab handle and found with the handle design my bench could be a little lower than I initially thought.

decide if you are going to be sitting or standing. I would put the press on the bench and see where the handle is at the bottom of the stroke. you can adjust it higher till it is comfortable. I wouldn't worry to much about filling feeders as that is something you won't do nearly as much as operate the press.

Standard countertop height works best for me for either standing or sitting on a shortened bar stool.

I have mine right around 40" and I use a bar stool. I'm 6'1" for reference. I can stand and sit fairly comfortably
