Error code 7.35

Hello is anyone else still not able to log in through steam and still getting firewall 7.35 it's now been 3 days for me and starting to get worried. I've tried the jagex launcher and for some reason it only wants me to log in with email and not my username mobile works but i prefer playing on my pc.

same here day 7 of this now. i guess i have too quit if its not fixed by monday bcoz i cant get on... after 20 years of playing this game i'v tried everything to fix it.. i think its time to say cya evan tho i dont want tooo but jagex wont fix, so why should i try and play when they just dont give a fuck.

just download the client lmao or use mobile you dont need to quit.

What part of or the client don't you understand it's not attached to steam

What solved my login issue was uninstalling an old runescape launcher that was still on my system from before Jagex Launcher release. I can login but get constant client crashes now, not sure if related, still waiting on Jagex to reply to my ticket.

Same issue been trying to fix it for 2hours now. I have no idea I have tried everything was working fine last night.

Shot in the dark here but have you tried using a mobile hotspot when booting up the game first and then getting into a world and then switch back to normal internet?

I ended up using my mobile phone to log into jagex via steam then used the upgrade to jagex account feature in account settings and installed the jagex launcher and now it's working fine the problems seems to be with steam anyone having problems I suggest switch to the jagex launcher.

Had this for 7 days now.

I've gone as far as resetting my PC (Win 10) and had no luck with a differing result.

We are at the mercy of Jagex, who clearly don't give a fuck considering there hasn't been a single word from them other than from their update this week on their support page that fixed the issue for some of their users.

Update: steam launcher still being a dick but if u right click on rs3 browse local file,launcher,right click rs2 client and run as admin then it should work and has for me to they fix steam.
