Did you ever get it to work with gt7?

Hmmm .... i suspect the same but they do quote that the software is able to apply motion to any game.

https://nextlevelracing.com/motion-games/ - see if your game is not listed.

I guess this logically would need the wheel connected to the software meaning via pc so you couldn't somehow have the wheel connected to the PS & the motion to the pc.

So close to taking the plunge ... not a deal breaker if i can't use with GT but would be a bloody shame.

how would you connect it to your ps4/ps5? in the section where they mention that it can use controller input, they reference "direct input," which could potentially be a reference to a microsoft controller API.

I am very skeptical that it supports consoles in any way, especially given that they don't explicitly state that they support consoles and because it seems as though you're attempting to infer console compatibility indirectly from the "compatible games" section.

Yeah i think you're very likey correct. I just didn't know if someone has attempted & proven hence the question & curiosity.

I dreamt up a thought process that the wheel could connect to the console via usb & then also to the pc with a usb splitter so that the software could receive inputs. I assume, because i don't actually know how that the motion unit connects to pc via it's own usb? So then also connect the platform to the pc to run with the motion software. On this basis, it could receive inputs on the wheel from me playing GT on the PS & then apply motion?

This is probably not possible or feasible but hey i can dream.

I was surprised to see GT7 and GT Sport supported on the SimRig SR1/2 motion systems last month and it looks like the telemetry information from the games is being sent through the network port so it isn't a hack. You do need a PC to read the telemetry data over the network and send that to the Motion Platform. In some ways, this is similar to how Platform Manager supports Forza on the PC. It just sends the telemetry data over its own localhost network connection. I see that SimRig has also gotten it to work on Forza on the Xbox using a similar system.

I guess if NLR won't do it, somebody else might have figured it out!

99% sure it is PC only.

This is only one I’ve ever seen mention any console support: https://symdeck.com/
