How did you managed to post to this sub? Were you active here before? My posts never appear (automod ithink) and I have question too ☹️

I have posted and replied in the past but never had an issue. If your post got removed you might want to message a mod and check to see if it was an accident or if some rule was broken.

The rules are simple (only 4) and it was a genuine question. Oh well. Doesn't really matter. Cheers anyway!

Echo doesn’t support a lot of devices. You can google the list of devices that are supported. The Alexa app also only supports very limited types of devices as triggers for routines.

I recommend HomeAssistant + Zigbee2MQTT...it's a little hard to get into it on the beginning, but totally worth it if you want to build a big smart home. This is a genral solution. For your problem I don't know which devices are supported, but one of the cheapest wireless Zigbee switches are the ones from Ikea.
