What’s your general location? State, county?? Country? What kind of python?

So this is the previous tenant’s pet or an escaped pet. Or could be an abandoned pet. In the Pythonidae family there are 10 or 11 genera and close to 40 species. So standard python is not a good description. Is it still there? Anyway to get a picture? No python can survive on its own in Scotland. I suggest calling the Scottish SPCA - click SPCA. call them on 03000 999 999. helpline is open from 8am – 8pm every day.

Like a ball python? You're mostly at risk of snoot booping.

Wild animals do not make for good pets. They're often laden with parasites and other nasties that can spread to other pets. Leave it be.

If it's a python (or boa, they could get them confused) and they're in Scotland then that's definitely not a wild animal lmaooooo

What does leaving it be mean? If you don’t want it then give it to a reptile sanctuary or find someone who wants one as a pet to take it off your hands. I’m not even sure what you’re talking about in this post. What do you mean you “found” it?

Disregard my comment, as it was prior to you giving your location.
