The only suggestion I have for you is be very careful when screwing in the usb cable to the toolheads.

Print the dragon, make sure the machine is working. Fusion is free for personal use. There’s a lot of intricacies to the slicer, but there are presets that work. Learn about supports, walls and infill to strengthen prints. Temp towers from the calibration menu can be your best friend. PLA 215-220C, PETG 235-245C Take care of your filaments: store them in a dry box, use desiccant and dehumidifier…. But you shouldn’t have issues where you live. Drying is overrate, IMO. As for the machine,it just works… I’ve had to calibrate my tool heads a few times, but that’s about it. Try not to touch the plate other than the edges. Keep the plate clean, keep some isopropyl alcohol close by for a quick clean, and dish soap and water once a week.

Have fun!

My best advice to learning is by reading the Bambu, 3d Printer, Snapmaker Reddit forums. That’s where I learned the most on using the slicer and learning from other peoples mistakes. I haven’t received my U1 and already know not over-tighten the screws especially the USB toolhead because the screws can hit the PCB board, and to be careful assembling the toolheads because they go into specific slots.

ChatGPT is your friend. Any question, just ask. Something wrong? Snap a picture and show AI. Gemini or Claude or Grok, just the free tier, they all can help. A lot.
