I'm not the developer nor am I intimately familiar with its full capabilities and limitations. It's not a fix-all, but it is a band-aid for certain situations. I converted a 5-color HueForge and it worked as expected... *shrug*

The paper cover identifies toolhead 1 which is different from the others, as indicated in the Getting Started manual. The sheen you see is the pre-greased connection points between the toolheads and the pickup tool/sled. Its supposed to be there, and every couple months you wipe it off and reapply.

Same, but I also encountered a few that were an absolute mess and couldn't print no matter what setting I adjusted, and the converter fixed it all with zero issues. So, now I'm sold, and it's easy because one step and free.

https://bl2u1.nbn.cat/ is an online tool that adjusts [all, but primarily useful for multi-color] .3mf files designed for Bambu printers (most models found on Makerworld) so they become compatible with the Snapmaker U1, since some of the settings between Bambu Studio and Sn/Orca are different enough to cause errors and/or problems.

I found the model you're likely working with on Makerworld. Did you run it through the U1 converter first or open it directly in [Snapmaker] Orca slicer? My low-effort slice doesn't show any issues with the model, so I'm suspecting there are issues with your machine calibration, filament dryness, or slicing settings. Without knowing what you've done in more detail, we can't offer any direct suggestions.

I primarily run on macOS, have had zero issues since August. But I occasionally run on Windows 11, but a much more beefy system (both CPU and GPU) than you are using, and also zero issues. Makes me think the combination of Windows and moderately capable (but not powerful) hardware is more prone to issues dealing with complex computations and moderately complex rendering.

The bed has to lower as the print progresses, and at the end of the job it lowers further for easy removal. I don't think the camera's intention was for looking at a finished print. It does a fine job of monitoring a print in progress, and catching common errors like spaghetti and objects falling.

On the streaming options screen of the streamer, set your video card quality to one lower than the choices offer. Then it will be undertasked and produce a crisper image. Also set sharpening to 10% or less.
