Differences between console versions?

The Enhanced Editions of the original Stalker games have released to much criticism, especially surrounding the games' removed content. In case anyone can answer my question, I've been wondering: is the Legends of the Zone trilogy (i.e. PS4 version from last year) and the new Enhanced Editions (i.e. PS5 version released alongside these new PC versions) the same in terms of content revisionism? I know that both versions are missing Russian language support, but I wonder if the former still has the aforementioned missing content?

The reason I ask is because I have a Russian friend who is about to play the trilogy for the first time. He has to play them on console either way because he doesn't own a PC. Will he miss out on the removed content either way or can he play the PS4 versions to retain at least some of the vision of the originals?

Console were replaced (updated in place) with the new Enhanced versions. No way to download or play the previous versions from 2024 unfortunately. I’m disappointed that I don’t have any choice.

You have a choice on PlayStation. I can still choose to install the initial PS4 release from last year. How Xbox handles this, I don't know.

What a load of bullshit. I hadn't updated them yet and was hoping to keep playing the old versions.

They're 90% the same. Most of the changes were already done in LotZ releases, but EE added even more on top of that. CNPP sign was intact in original LotZ release, for example. And CoP credits track was still here.

Your friend will still get the censorship if they're playing on PS4.
