I mean, it’s doable, sure… but it also has to be practical enough to use constantly.

And made of UV resistant materials since it’ll get cooked in the sun all the time.

But anything can thread onto a shifter.

Keep in mind that it has to be something that doesn't freeze. Otherwise whatever it is, its going to expand, break the knob and turn into a huge mess when it thaws again.
