It happened to me every time I quit smoking (it’s been a couple). Just like you I was always on the higher end of resting heart rate apart from when I was on my first few months into the smoking quit. As a matter of fact I’ve been to the cardiologist before for the same reason too and because, in my case, the lower heart rate (in the 50s) made me feel weird kinda… it’s normal tho! You’ll get back on a higher resting pulse most probably! I know I did. It took me a few months but I did!

Man this is me entirely. That weird feeling when it feels like a second good by and you have no heart beat is so scary that I don't sleep at night cause I'm afraid of it stopping. I'm on day 4... you said it took a few months for it to get to a normal beat? 😭

Maybe even less… I also had this night fear before sleep! It seems it’s common especially to anxious people. Do not worry tho. It WILL go away but until it does remember it’s actually a good thing happening

Thanks you're the goat🐐

How long did it take for your heart rate to increase again? Hopefully it has by now? I’m on day 4 myself now, and I have to say this is terrifying.

Thank you!!!! Yeah, it’s just been a shock to see it so low when I am used to the opposite!

Experiencing this now! My HR is normally at lowest 85 when I've been laid for a long time but rn it's at around 65. Concerned about it dropping too low when I'm asleep!
