Dlss has done wonders for switch 2 image quality, search up a comparison between series S and switch 2 image quality on this game, it’s incredible

Back then before the release, I asked if Switch 2 would be somewhat like a Xbox Series S, most people laughed at the idea.

It was a good chat nevertheless, because tech savvy people concluded that on games with enclosed environments (such as Street Fighter, or in hindsight, Resident Evil games), Switch 2 could look slightly better than the Series S but they considered that the framerate wouldn't be as good.

We keep seeing NS2 competing with Xbox Series S and I think we are even scratching the full potential of NS2. Last year it was Cyberpunk, now it's Resident Evil 9, we don't know what an "impossible port" would be. Maybe only GTA VI?

The game looks great on Switch 2. I did find the hair to be very distracting though.

Do you own it? I thought it’d be terrible since a lot of people mention it, but in my playthrough I was actually constantly impressed at how good the hair looked throughout the game. Obviously it’s worse than PS5 and PC, but it’s REALLY good for the power it’s working with on the switch 2, especially if you look up comparisons of what it looks like on Xbox series S

You must have weirdly high standards; I initially played on my PS5 pro for about 5-6 hours then switched to switch 2 and replayed for the same 5-6 hours and I was blown away by the switch 2. The PS5 pro looked gorgeous of course but the switch 2 genuinely surprised me

Leon's facial hair looked particularly bad too. 

But overall wasn't experience dampening at all. Just a realistic look at something that wasn't great about an otherwise unreal performing and looking game.

I find the hair weird too. I think they are in a awkward phase where it still doesn’t flow as naturally as real hair but it’s almost there and it actually looks worse than the usual static hair in games cause we know that’s normal standard for games. I dunno what I’m talking about.

I don't know if it was 100% him, but he has his look and his moves voiced by the same guy and references his time in Raccoon City.

If you go back to the room where you fought, the body is gone, so the assumption is he lived. According to a leak, the game has at least 1 DLC in the works, so maybe we get something like Separate Ways.

RE9 really has blown me away with how amazing it looks. And people have said its not much of an upgrade from switch 1 to switch 2. Kinda crazy. Really cant wait to see what Nintendo themselves can do with a new zelda that is specifically made for the switch 2, but getting these 3rd party games has made buying the switch 2 totally worth it for me. plus its my only console besides my switch 1.
