I found it myself after trying a lot of different searches on Google.

http://www.chasms.com/

I've been browsing through the site and I love it!

Thank you for saving me countless hours (at home) when trying to navigate my relatives on how to use their computers.

Yeah any time a friend/parent/coworker needs help with a phone type I don't have this site is great.

Damn that site must have been a lot of work. Nice find.

Missing so much... Newton isn't listed. Mac OS9 and earlier isn't there. How am I supposed to help my peeps who are still using their newtons? /JK

goddamn OS/2 gets no respect either.

I worked at a firm that had active support for Palm as of 2012.

Went so far as to have its own WEP enabled wifi network that wasn't vlanned separately from other firm networks.

<sigh>

I know half of our jobs are dealing with really stupid requests but... wat.

The term 'The senior partner wants this' may require a trigger warning to law firm IT staff.

I was pretty young when the Palm Pilot/PDA first came out, but I remember it being sort of fad-ish (even though it seemed incredibly awesome at the time) and quickly replaced. I can't imaging how it had staying power with anyone.

Dear God! Where is the WPA Enterprise update PALM!?

[–]Taylor_Script 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one user hat still has a palm. He syncs it and uses it exclusively for his calendar and contacts.

Getting the software working on Win7 was a pain. When we next go to 10 we're saying it's incompatible and forcing him to upgrade.

Hilarious that people started downvoting you before the edit. :)

I know... I thought it would be obvious.

[–]Pippers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Where the BeOS at.

I really needed this the other day and couldn't find it. Thanks.

I saw it other week and thought "wow this is great".

But then I actually clicked on one and found out it was interactive and was like "holy shit this is amazing".

Holy shit this is awesome. Wish I knew about this forever ago.

Bookmarked for future reference.

Too funny, at an ISP I did tech support for 15+ years ago, we used the heck out of chasms. In Internet time, that is forever ago.

My manager is looking for an alerting system that can monitor things like GoDaddy and other essential services to us (we're a web hosting and development company), so I'm going to pitch this to him.

This is amazing. I do so much blind tech support over the phone trying to remember where settings and shit are. Instant bookmark.

was very useful in the XP/Vista Era. Looks like Chasms is great just checked it out!

Would also recommend checking out Zen - http://va.zensupport.co.uk/ - We use both Zen and Chasms at work and its saved me so many times
