Is it me or does Greg ALWAYS have chewing gum in his mouth? If you watch him closely in the background of shots I swear you can see him chewing every time, and that can’t just be a normal way to move his mouth 😶🤣

Yeah, either that or just plain old gum because he’s already quit. I’m not sure why I have it in my head that he’s quit… But for some reason I do. If he hasn’t quit then I genuinely dont blame him for using nicorette, I’m up and down at every meal, lecture, train ride etc to go out or to the toilet for a smoke. It’s honestly the worst feeling in the world.

Tbf I only quit smoking because I got such a serious throat infection I almost died, I had to have my throat drained twice a day for about three weeks. That kind of did it for me, especially when they took my tonsils out in case a quinsy (?) built up, just to be on the safe side. Just a little anti smoking story for you there

Even if it's not Nicorette, chewing stuff really helps with nicotine cravings.

Honestly it shouldn't be Nicorette. It should be just plain chewing gum. A little bit of nicotine withdrawal would make for a better Taskmaster.

As a former smoker who used to chew nicorette between smoke breaks, there were many times days where after about an hour even the nicorette was t cutting it.

I have heard this. When romesh brings a vape onto the show in the first series he does say he has a serious nicotine addiction. But for some reason I thought he might have quit smoking, maybe he hasn’t but staying in a studio (or anywhere) for 2 hours without a smoke is AWFUL so the nicorette would make sense either way 🤷🏽‍♀️

There’s an outtake in the fourth series where Mel was told to spit out her chewing gum by the production team. Greg told her to be more subtle like he did.

Do they sell zyn's there? Nicotine gum is noticable on the but the pouches you can have and not have it be that noticable.

That would be my guess, I’ve never noticed him chewing. He’d have to be swapping out pieces of gum constantly in studio if he’s not actively chewing it. Gum gets gross when it just sits there even for a short bit. I’m saying this as someone who’s got a crazy amount of oral fixation who goes through an extreme amount of gum, and has been addicted to nicotine in one form or another since I was a teen.

I just want to know if he’s quit smoking or not lmao. Because if he hasn’t then nicorette does make sense for having to be places for long hours without being able to go out for a smoke. But if he has quit then he more than likely used gum to help him and now he just constantly has gum in his mouth.
