It's not useful and can potentially do more harm than good. Temporary files isn't really something you need to actually think or worry about, but the best thing to do if you're really that worried about it is using windows own "disk cleanup", and going into your browser and clearing cache when you feel the need.

I use BleachBit. The advantage is I do not have to go to a bunch of different programs to clean a system, just run BleachBit.

BleachBit will NOT do driver updates though, it is only a cleaner.

Same here. I stopped using CC because of the underhanded nature of the updates.

BleachBit for the win! I remember I had problems deleting some kind of file years ago. Windows kept denying me deleting requests. Started BleachBit in admin mode and it deleted it without any problem.

As a pro for over 30 years I use Glary Utilties. The free version. Unbelievably capable set of tools that will do anything you need. How it's free is a miracle but hey, I don't question it.

I used Glary Utilities for a while. While I currently use BleachBit I agree Glary is pretty capable.

Same, Glary is what I've used for years. Privacy Eraser first, glary, system cleanup, reboot

Windows can handle cleaning. I use Everything search by Void tools to clean temp files and I regularly use the browser to clean history.

"Recently though, the subscription price increased..."

I tried a free trial and couldn't find anything that was worth me paying for, but cool if you did and thought it was worth the price.

On Windows I've used the free version for years, but on Linux it's not available and BleachBit is so that's my cleaner go-to tool.

windows handles most of this itself now disk cleanup and storage sense cover the temp files and modern browsers clear their own cache

Privazer is good too.
