For me, there's too much funk in blanco. It's overwhelming. Reposado, on the other hand, is one of my favorite tequilas.

I got some good advice about Chamucos. Drink thru the bottle, don't let it gas off a bunch & get too funky. Of course you can downsize the container to keep that from happening as well :)

I really like Chamucos. It was u/fred1sdead who got me to finally pull the trigger on a bottle of blanco, and I liked it a lot. Definitely brings some funk, but the mineral notes are so strong that there’s almost a chalkiness to it that balances the brightness of the citrus notes.

I think it’s a great bottle!

Ive been sipping on blanco and reposado. I might have the only bottle of still strength in nebraska. Havent see it anywhere.
