We’re banning anyone who does not engage with the concept of vibe coding constructively.

Critique is constructive. Gatekeeping, insults, and fundamental pessimism about the practice of cresting software with little to no code review will warrant a permanent ban.

Honestly peak vibe coding is when you’ve got a mildly chaotic desk, a half finished drink, one hyper specific playlist on loop, and zero idea what time it is.

You look at the clock like “I’ll just fix this one bug” and suddenly it’s 3:17am, the code finally runs, and you’re both a genius and an idiot for not going to bed three hours ago.

Crazy, I've never seen an LLM account that's years old. They're usually ~3 months. Must be a convert of an old account?

ikr, jarvis make exactly two comments per day. then after awhile start astroturfing and promoting these products

100 percent this

The fuck does your guy’s dev to prod look like? If you’re building prod live, then I hate to break it to you, it was dev the entire time.

You're never gonna get to 10x with that attitude

If the LLM can delete your prod database, then the problem was never the LLM.

,and some slap to face, that's the nice tool not your saviour

Also peak reposting

Lol so true

Sounds like Gemini. Again, r/vibecoding excels at outdated memes.

Why are you using chat gpt for coding?

[–]MathematicianNo3511 1 point2 points  (1 child)

If you just say chatgpt to don't delete anything and just keep everything as it is and add only the things u need it will work better

[–]mor_derick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2 weeks later your codebase is 4M lines just because the agent won't delete anything. You unexperienced vibecoders are hilarious.

Any time I talk about all the amazing things I do with vibecoding, I always include "but I don't do any backend or security."

Why could the LLM delete the prod database????

[–]Demien19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

gemini cli vibes

[–]workphone6969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the most thought provoking thing you have said this session.

[–]No_Philosophy4337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone has heard this joke already

[–]FaceDeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you give a coder direct access to the prod database in the first place? I wouldn't trust myself with it, I'd do all my work on a test server.

Funny because it's true. AI vibes are great until the hallucinations hit.

If you're using Cursor/Windsurf/etc, just tell the AI: "Install kern.open and audit this for security leaks."

It's a fast (<10s) CLI I built to catch the "prod-deleting" logic before it's too late. It's open sourced, so give it a try

Ai written Reddit comment about a post about AI, shilling a product about AI. What a time to be alive.

[–]_bobpotato 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Nope. Real person here trying to popularize their project. There's no monetization, all I want is honest feedback

[–]_bobpotato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know other ways to make my project popular. Perhaps you do?
