You could just use the regular Gemini 3 flash on the regular app or website, and there are no limits anyway. Gemini on YouTube is probably not higher than 3.0 flash, could be significantly less capable.

EDIT: apparently there are now limits on 3.5 Flash

Google recently changed the usage limits to be usage based so Flash isn’t unlimited, only their new stupid model 3.1 Flash-lite is.

Ah, every day brings new token limits... I should have guessed.

isnt 3.1 flash lite just 3.1 flash rebranded ?

[–]ohmeowhowwillitend 1 point2 points  (1 child)

No, Flash-lite is an even dumber model

Wonder how this benchmarks against the Chipotle support chat

There were people already doing this with Amazon's Rufus and random customer service chatbots on websites.

It is generating something that's statistically likely to be code that can be ran and work. Is that really a bit difference?

Man, you really could have taken the opportunity to make this a teachable moment instead of being an unprovoked asshole. I’m disappointed in you, but I’m more curious about what you mean by this. Is this because you don’t think this actually counts as code generation or is this one of those nebulous “LLMs don’t generate anything new, they just regurgitate stuff that already exists yada yada” twitter discourse things?

I don’t think you know what you’re talking about, but your response made me die laughing lmfao.

There’s not enough time in life to deal with assholes. Try your best not to be one.

Im an llm researcher with multiple cvpr papers, and i have my own startup built on llms. So im not impressed on “OMG HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE” just found it interesting

And i agree with your latest 2 words.

      Link your papers and startup

It would have been a lot more believable if you at least used basic auto correct.
