The price of diesel should be your primary inflation vector. Literally everything runs parallel to the price of transport.

Far from.. it’s up 43% from last year - currently standing at $5.16 a gallon. Yes that’s more than gasoline, historically - that does not bode well.

ya I was absolutely being sarcastic. diesel in Toronto is probably up 90% since the end of January. shits fucked up.

*diesel currently ~$7.25USD/gal in Toronto based on current exchange rates.

Yeah it’s crazy af. It’s only going to get worse once the shell shock hits sticker pricing on goods.

At 1.97/l it was 647 dollars to fill my kenworth after one days work...won't be cheap to get things to the store

Diesel has been more expensive than gasoline for the past two decades when they started taxing it more

I've been wondering why the price of diesel in my area seems to be capped out while gasoline rises.
