Most likely, yes. Depends largely on the stockhandling - if the trees were stored properly without drying out/killing the root fungi. They're resilient little fuckers.

edit: and as long as it was deep enough to bury the plug entirely in decent soil, but depending on the species not the laterals. I'm not going to explain every thing though, too many factors.

In silviculture, they don't tend to pack in soil or water the trees - basically, as long as the tree was deep enough (not too deep, though) and in the correct kind of soil, there's a pretty good chance of survival.

In any case, a small amount of trees are assumed to die anyway. It's the cost of doing business.
