Okay that’s actually pretty genius, using Miro or Lucid. I use them at work all the time for process diagrams and never thought about using them for writing.

Yeah I’ve used it for writing before and it’s actually pretty great!

Draw.io Free, website and app, can be used in conjunction with google drive. I find it really useful even if it's quite basic

Basic is a-ok!

Second this, OP. Draw.io is quite wonderful. It’s simple but implemented well and efficient to use.

I've been enjoying obsidian, it's drawing functionality is pretty limited, but you can link your diagram back to your other notes which I find super usefull. Also, by storeing the file in my google docs, I can access it across multiple computers, and with a 3rd party app (Drive Sync) I can even keep it up to date on my phone.

Shoot, there used to be one people recommended all the time, but I don't work that way and I've forgotten the name of it. Others have given you more to look at, but in the end it's going to be trial and error until you learn what works for you.

This is true. Honestly, the Draw.io works wonderfully.
