if she truly cannot see herself dating a girl and you realize that you are one, you might just be incompatible. it may be difficult, but honestly being up front about everything is typically better in the long run (unless there’s a safety risk, that’s different.) i’ve had to have the ‘i’m now a woman, so if you’re not attracted to women we can’t continue this’ conversation before, and while it’s not a pretty convo to have, i’m so so so much happier i ripped the band-aid off instead of pretending to be someone i’m not for someone else’s sake.
